As a Venture Builder, Salim leads a team that turns ideas into successful businesses, akin to launching rockets into space. With a degree in Communication Technology Engineering, he has worked across eCommerce, and Fintech.
Salim has received accolades such as the SME of the Year 2015 from Arabian Business and recognition by Forbes Middle East as one of the Most Promising Startups in the Middle East in 2016 and 2017. He founded eWhale.co, a Cross Border eCommerce platform, and is actively involved in professional groups like IEEE and JCI.
Salim participates in many startup competitions in the region, including Entrepreneur TV Show, Shark Tank Saudi, and Shark Tank Dubai. He loves the entrepreneurial challenge, with his project "Search in MENA" being listed among the top 30 Best Mediterranean Start-ups in 2010.
Currently, Salim is managing Be Venture Partners, a Corporate Venture Builder, and operates as a co-founder. He is deeply involved from the initial idea to the seed funding stage. The firm boasts a diverse portfolio of ventures in AI, Fintech, eCommerce, Retail Technology, SaaS for Restaurants, and Cars sectors.
