"The Abu Dhabi SME Hub will support SMEs of all stages, acting as a centralized and reliable source of information, relevant to local entrepreneurs’ interests."
The Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development is dedicated to supporting and developing SMEs, as part of the Emirates economic objectives for diversification and sustainability across various sectors, and the strengthening of SMEs contribution to the country's GDP.
To that goal, the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development presents the Abu Dhabi SME Hub, connecting all strategic initiatives via one integrated and up-to-date digital knowledge platform, and supporting the development of the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Today, there are more than 400,000 SMEs generating over 60% of the UAE non-oil economy, and providing 86 percent of the private workforce. The UAE government's Vision 2021 projects SME participation in the non-oil economy to reach 70 percent this year.
The Abu Dhabi SME Hub will support SMEs of all stages, acting as a centralized and reliable source of information, relevant to local entrepreneurs’ interests.
Alongside strategic partners, it will provide the necessary tools to its a growing ecosystem; allowing entrepreneurs to discover information, data, updated regulations, and legislations from official sources, covering issues including, but not limited to, innovation, fundraising, product development, marketing, and organizational scaling.
