ADIO Advances Abu Dhabi’s Gaming Ecosystem 

Abu Dhabi boasts over 70 content creation firms in the gaming sector, and ADIO seeks to bolster this ecosystem through strategic partnerships aligned with Abu Dhabi’s innovation and technology focus. Recently, ADIO collaborated with Ubisoft, a global gaming giant renowned for developing, publishing, and distributing games across consoles, PCs, and mobile platforms.

ADIO is offering growth-oriented support, including facilitating setup, fostering connections within the Abu Dhabi ecosystem, and providing international trade opportunities. Badr Al-Olama, ADIO’s Director General, emphasised Abu Dhabi's evolution into a global hub for technology and design talent within the wider region. Notably, Abu Dhabi is emerging as a key player in the gaming sector, attracting developers, publishers, and top talent. Collaborations with global gaming leaders further enrich this burgeoning ecosystem while nurturing the growth of Arabic content games.

Tamatem Games specialises in delivering culturally relevant and localised games to the Arabic-speaking gaming community, boasting a diverse portfolio of over 50 games with 150 million downloads. Through its partnership with ADIO, the company aims to establish a centre of excellence in Abu Dhabi, contributing to the Emirate's vision of becoming a regional e-gaming hub. Tamatem Games plans to employ over 40 gaming specialists in Abu Dhabi and collaborate closely with local universities on internship and training initiatives.
