What is a MakerSpace?
A MakerSpace is an open-access and membership-based Do-It-Yourself workshop and fabrication studio. The company offers a community-based space where makers, entrepreneurs, creators, innovators, artists, students, and educators come together to build the things they have always wanted to make.
Makerspace Al Zeina’s workshop provides access to a suite of high-quality machines and tools, and on-site professionals are available to provide the training needed to use this equipment, as well as learn new skills.
The workshop also offers 70+ classes per month, categorised by craft areas and available equipment, including computer numerical control machining, laser cutting, textiles, welding, woodshop, arts and crafts, and many others.
Supporting inventors and innovators in the UAE
Under this MoU, Makerspace Al Zeina will provide the necessary support to the inventors in the design phase of the prototypes of their inventions, as well as to provide space and high-quality equipment, machines, and tools.
Moreover, the company will organise training courses and workshops for inventors, in order to help them in designing the prototypes of their inventions by using state-of-art technology to facilitate the product's access to the commercial markets.
Inventors and creators looking to build a POC or Product are eligible for a 25% discount on the workshop’s 6-month subscription and 1-year subscription package.
