Hyperfusion and AHOY Unveil Project Jeriko: Pioneering Edge Computing and HPC Innovation in the UAE

Revolutionising high-performance computing solutions in the UAE with innovative AI-driven technologies across multiple sectors, Hyperfusion and AHOY recently collaborated on the cutting-edge project Jeriko

Hyperfusion, a leader in AI and machine learning infrastructure in the GCC, has partnered with AHOY, a deep-tech company specializing in edge computing and tech solutions, to launch Project “Jeriko.” This initiative merges Hyperfusion’s advanced GPU clusters with AHOY’s edge computing technology, offering solutions for industries such as VoIP, aviation, telecom, life sciences, and smart cities. Project Jeriko aims to revolutionize high-performance computing (HPC) by integrating AI-powered devices and edge computing to enhance efficiency, scalability, and service quality for businesses.

At the core of this project is the combination of Hyperfusion’s GenAI GPU cluster, the largest in the GCC, with AHOY’s state-of-the-art edge solutions. This enables seamless data processing across cloud and edge environments, offering businesses ready-to-use software development kits (SDKs) for quick deployment of AI-driven applications. Telecom providers, for instance, can utilize AI-powered edge devices to optimize bandwidth usage and manage network congestion dynamically, leading to better user experiences and higher resource efficiency.

In content delivery and video streaming, Project Jeriko’s GPU-optimized edge computing allows faster content caching, reducing latency and bandwidth needs. This enhances playback speed, reduces buffering, and results in significant bandwidth savings for content providers.

Hyperfusion, a homegrown UAE company founded just two years ago, has rapidly become a leader in AI computing, providing scalable AI solutions while adhering to local data laws. With Tier 3 certified data centers, Hyperfusion supports businesses throughout their AI transformation journey, ensuring seamless scalability and operational reliability. Quentin Reyes, CEO of Hyperfusion, emphasized that Project Jeriko represents their commitment to innovation in the UAE.

AHOY, the first core tech infrastructure company in the MENA region, focuses on mobility, logistics, and edge computing technologies. Its collaboration with Hyperfusion reflects a shared mission to empower businesses across the GCC, MENAT region, Asia, and Africa. According to Jamil Shinawi, CEO of AHOY, this project will enable companies to respond to market demands with unprecedented speed, agility, and intelligence.

Project Jeriko aligns with the UAE's vision of becoming a global leader in technology and innovation, contributing to the country's efforts to build a knowledge-based economy and pioneer the digital future.
